Sue was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she currently resides, and has also lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Myrtle Beach, and Detroit. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Michigan in 1987. Whether working with clay, beads, wire, metal, or paint, Sue utilizes rich, vibrant color and texture. Her work takes on playful forms, which express her emotional optimisim during the creative process. Sue draws her inspiration from the earth, the cosmos, human healing, and transformation. In her work, she strives to honor larger cycles of life. Sue’s jewelry is currently represented in several gallery shops in Michigan, California, and Key West, Florida.
